On Sunday, April 27, 1pm, over 100 people
united for
therapeutic self-expression, taking their toilet annoyances out of the bathroom
and onto the gun range at
Boomershoot, an annual
guns and explosives event held in North Central Idaho. Shooters fired at a
low-flow toilet filled with reactive targets, resulting in colossal explosions,
thus annihilating the porcelain commode into smithereens.
Copyright-free photos
and videos from the toilet detonation are posted on the
photos and vide page.
WE HAVE NEVER FELT SO HONORED, Dave Barry blogs about National Low-Flow
Toilet Blowup Day, 4/25/08 pm
"I'll be sure to send you a piece of the toilet artifacts -- kind of like how
people scrambled to get their hands on a Communist brick, after the fall of the
Berlin Wall." --Barry blog, 4/25/08 am
